All cats registered under FIFe, has a pedigree with an EMS code. This code describes the breed, color and pattern of the cat.
The FIFe's Easy Mind System (EMS) uses a combination of letters and numbers to identify cats. The first part of the EMS code, written in capital (uppercase) letters, denotes the breed. The small letter specify colour, and the numbers identify the pattern. All cats registered with a FIFe pedigree, has an EMS color code.
